Associate Dean of University of Leicester met with DU VC

Dr. Md. Imtiaz Mostafiz, Associate Dean of the College of Business at the University of Leicester, UK, met with Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Niaz Ahmad Khan at his office on Thursday.
During the meeting, they discussed the potential for initiating joint educational and research programs between Dhaka University and the University of Leicester, UK, in areas such as business, medicine, and public health. The discussions covered topics including credit transfer, exchange of teachers, students, and researchers, launching joint PhD programs, and adopting special programs to enhance the capacity of young teachers.
Besides , they discussed organizing international seminars, conferences, symposia, and training workshops through the joint efforts of the two universities. They expressed mutual agreement on signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Dhaka University and the University of Leicester, UK, in this regard at the earliest opportunity.
