65 people arrested in police operation in Tongi

Police have conducted special operations to control and prevent law and order situation in Tongi, industrial city. Sixty-five people were arrested for various crimes in Tongi East and West Police Station.
Police claim that most of the arrested are involved in theft and robbery. In addition, several of them are regular cases and warrants accused.
It is reported that crime trends have increased in two police stations in Tongi recently. Police conducted special operations as highways, branch roads, flights and roads and even the stealing of the area increased. Tongi East Police Station arrested thirty -seven people in various cases including murder, robbery, preparing for Dhaka. On the other hand, Tongi West Police Station has arrested Twenty Eight people, including thirty -three robbers. Gazipur Metropolitan Police Deputy Police Commissioner Mohiuddin Ahmed said that three accused were arrested in two police stations in Tongi in a special operation till noon. Legal action has been sent to court after taking legal action against them. The police official also confirmed that such a campaign would continue in the interest of controlling the law and order situation.
