Swaponobitan organises research workshop at IU

Swaponobitan organized a workshop on ‘Fundamentals of Research’ on Monday at IU.
The event took place at Room 435 of the Mir Mosharraf Hossain Academic Building at 1 PM.
Professor Dr. Kazi Mustafa Arif, Chairman of the Department of Economics, was the chief guest and Sabbir Ahmed, a social worker and lecturer at the German University Bangladesh, attended as a special guest. Dr. Md. Ariful Islam, Assistant Professor of the Department of Economics, was the main speaker.
Also, he praised the initiative, saying, "This is a great step forward. The better we think, the better our research will be. I thank everyone for participating and hope such events will continue."
Dr. Ariful Islam also shared his thoughts on some academic weaknesses at the university, mentioning, "At IU, we still have some gaps, like submitting handwritten assignments. In neighboring countries, technology is widely used for assignments, addressing issues like copyright. We need to catch up in this area."
