Seminar on National Safe Food Day in Rangamati

A seminar on National Safe Food Day 2025 was held in Rangamati.
Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Habib Ullah was present as the chief guest at the seminar organized at the Rangamati District Administration Conference Room on Sunday (February 2) morning.
District Safe Food Officer Sourav Roy, Additional Superintendent of Police Maruf Ahmed, Additional Deputy Commissioner Sarbik Md. Ruhul Amin, Deputy Director of District Information Office Amiya Kanti Khisa and officials of the District Food Department were present at the seminar.
The speakers at the seminar said that there is no alternative to safe food to ensure nutrition. The main cause of our nutritional problems is unsafe food. Therefore, everyone needs to make joint efforts to ensure safe food.
The seminar recommended market supervision and strict enforcement of the law against those who sell unsafe, unhealthy and adulterated food.
