A two-day science fair, organized on the occasion of the 46th National Science and Technology Week ended in Gouripur upazila of Mymensingh district on Wednesday. The fair concluded with a prize-giving ceremony held at the Officers Club.

Organized by the Upazila Administration, the fair featured various activities including a science olympiad, quiz competitions, scientific innovation project exhibitions, and seminars with active participation from students. Students from 21 educational institutions and 1 club named Creative Sandhani Science and Technology Club in the Upazila showcased their innovative ideas at the event.

The quiz competition was conducted in three categories to evaluate the students’ intellectual capabilities. Prizes were distributed among the winners by the distinguished guests.

As a chief guest at the prize-giving ceremony, the UNO of Gouripur M. Sazzadul Hasan presided over the function and encouraged the students to engage in scientific pursuits. He remarked, “Our young generation holds immense potential. With proper guidance, they can lead the nation to the pinnacle of scientific progress.”
