Bangladesh Television organizes Youth Festival, outdoor events in Rangamati

The Youth Festival 2025 and outdoor events organized by Bangladesh Television have been organized under the "Awareness Promotion Activities for the Development of Children, Adolescents and Women" project implemented by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
On Thursday (January 23), the program was organized at the Freedom Fighter Shaheed M. Abdul Ali Mancha adjacent to the Rangamati DC office with Information and Broadcasting Ministry Secretary Mahbuba Farzana as the chief guest.
Rangamati Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Habib Ullah presided over the program.
Present at the event were Additional Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Mohammad Altaf-ul-Alam, Riasat Al Wasif, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Mr. Nurul Azam, General Manager, Bangladesh Television, Mr. Mahbuba Ferdous, Assistant Project Director, Awareness Campaign for the Development of Children, Adolescents and Women.
The speakers said that the main objective of this event is: to raise awareness through various media for social and behavioral changes of children, adolescents and women and to uphold universal rights.
Various awareness-raising topics including maternal and child health protection, positive attitudes towards children, prevention of child marriage, planting trees, ending child labor, ensuring education for boys and girls, and women's rights and empowerment were discussed.
