ACC raids Bagerhat 250-bed district hospital : Various irregularities found

ACC officials initially said that various allegations of irregularities were found. On Thursday (January 23), a team led by ACC Bagerhat Assistant Director Md. Saidur Rahman conducted a raid on Bagerhat 250-bed district hospital.
ACC Bagerhat Assistant Director Md. Saidur Rahman confirmed that the ACC team found evidence of irregularities in various matters in their initial investigation.
ACC members, disguised as police officers, collected information on various allegations from the morning and initially found the truth of several allegations.
In this regard, the hospital's supervisor, Asim Kumar Samaddar, was asked to take action on several irregularities under his jurisdiction and to explain various irregularities.
The allegations include the sale of government medicines, discourteous behavior of doctors and nurses, not coming to the hospital on time for duty, irregularities in cooked food, irregularities in waste management, and forcing patients to take tests in a special lab called CityLab despite the availability of various tests in the hospital, said ACC Bagerhat Assistant Director Md. Saidur Rahman.
