Reception to DU Prof Dr. Mohsin Ullah Patwari

Under the initiative of Dhaka University Plant Science Department Alumni Association, internationally renowned plant scientist Professor Dr. Mohsin Ullah Patwari was felicitated on Monday at the Central Gallery of the Department of Botany.
Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. ASM Maqsood Kamal was present as the chief guest.
The chairman of the Department of Plant Science Professor Dr. Former Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University Professor Dr. AK Azad Chowdhury, professor of the department spoke as a special guest. Md. Atahar Uddin and Professor Dr. Md. Abul Bashar.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. ASM Maksud Kamal said, Professor Dr. Mohsin Ullah Patwari is a living legend in botanical research.
Through this reception, the students of the department will get to know directly about his life and work and will get motivated to concentrate themselves in research.
The vice-chancellor urged the students of Plant Science Department to be research-oriented and said that students should play a proper role in controlling the current world temperature and preventing climate change through research.
