Lost in Lauachhara forest : Two students of Daffodil University rescued

Two university students lost in Lauachhara National Park have been rescued. After receiving a 999 phone call, various branches of the police and the forest department rescued them from the dense forest of Lauachhra Udyan on Monday night.
On this day, around 1:30 p.m., they got lost in the forest deep in Lauachhara forest.
The victims said that one of them somehow informed the family members about the matter. After that, the family members called the emergency service number 999 and sought the help of the police. The rescued are Shahzab bin Azmat (25) and Yalid Ud Zaman (25), fourth year students of Daffodil International University, Dhaka.
Yalid ud Zaman said about the lost and rescued, we came to visit Srimangal last Sunday. We were supposed to go to Dhaka on Monday evening. In the afternoon we go for a walk in Lauachhara. After entering Lauachhara we suddenly lost the road. There was no cell phone network inside the forest. We walk up a hill. Called my home from there. Family members called 999 from my house and reported the matter.
Later, Srimangal Tourist Police contacted us on mobile phone. But the network was repeatedly cut there. He also said, 'As the evening approaches, it gets dark all around. I was afraid that some animal would attack again. Later around 8:30 PM we found the police and local people with great difficulty. The tourist police rescued us from the forest and brought us to the city.
Pradeep Kumar Chakraborty, Officer-in-Charge of Tourist Police Srimangal, said, "We received a call from 999 at 5:00 p.m. that two youths were lost while wandering in the forest.
Later our tourist police members went to Lauachhara. They were searched in the forest with tourist guides, police of Kamalganj police station, local shopkeepers and security personnel of Lauachhra along with people of local minority ethnic groups.
After a lot of searching, they were rescued from behind Magurchhara Khasia Punji near Lauachhra around 8:30 pm. We brought the rescued persons to the Tourist Police Srimangal office. After that I safely delivered them to the hotel.
