The Great May Day has been celebrated in Netrakona with a bright pledge to establish the fair rights of the workers. From Wednesday morning, various labor organizations gathered in the local Moktarpara field with their respective banners wearing red ribbons on their heads and wearing genji. At 10:30 in the morning, a colorful joy rally took place from the Moktarpara ground in the district town on the initiative of the Netrakona district administration.

The rally circumambulated the main main road of the city and reached the local public hall for discussion. District Commissioner Shahed Parvez presided over the discussion meeting, Zilla Parishad Chairman Advocate Asit Kumar Sarkar Sajal, Additional Superintendent of Police Harun Or Rashid, Municipal Mayor Nazrul Islam Khan, District Awami League General Secretary Advocate Shamchur Rahman VP Liton, former leader of Muktijoddha Sangsad Subrata Ghosh, District Motor Vehicle Employees Union General Secretary Saiful Islam, District Auto Tempu Workers Union Leader Billal Uddin Sheikh Billal, Bidi Workers Union Leader Abdul Gafur, District Shop Employees Union Leader Abdul Helim, District Construction Workers Union President Ali Usman and other labor leaders.

Citizen movement for Netrakona Development, District Motor Vehicle Workers Union, District Construction Workers Union, District Shop Workers Union, District Bidi Workers Union, District Motorcycle Workers Union, District Microstand Workers Union, District Autotempu Workers Union, District Rickshaw Workers Union, District Wood Carpenters Workers Union, District Electricity Workers Union, District Fruit Sellers Workers Union, District Tailor Workers Union, District CNG Workers Union, District Bakeries Workers Union, District Hotel Restaurant Workers Union and various labor organizations are holding various programs at different places.
