A housewife commits suicide by hanging itself from the ceiling fan of a house in a trivial incident with her husband. The incident took place at 6.30 pm on Thursday when the door and window of the house were closed. The on-duty doctor pronounced him dead after the family members broke down the door and took him down to the local Kabila Eastern Medical College Hospital.

According to police and local sources, Lokhi Nath Saha, son of Sumon Saha of Kala Kachua village of Mainamati union of Burichang upazila of the district got married to Bithi Rani Saha (18), daughter of Nepal Chandra Saha of Nuri Kandi Saha Para of Meghna upazila of the district 6 months ago. Since the marriage, their family was living happily.

There was no lack of happiness. The good home between them was endless. Suddenly, in this good house, the poison of Kal Nagini became bitter. On Thursday morning, Bithi Rani Saha's husband chased her to the cantonment at her workplace. She gets breakfast time.

The wife wants to know by phone why he did not have breakfast or left angry with his wife. Husband Lok Nath Saha did not come back and his wife was very proud and said that you will come and you will not find me. At 6.30 in the evening , Bithi Rani Saha entered the house, closed the door and window, hung the ceiling fan behind her neck and killed the soul.

When the people of the house became suspicious after seeing the doors and windows closed, they opened the door, entered the house, got down from the hanging and rushed to Kabila Eastern Medical College Hospital for treatment.

Upon receiving the information, SI Md. Ruhul Amin of Devpur police outpost of Burichang police station along with the accompanying force recovered the body and prepared an inquest report and sent it to the morgue of Comilla Medical College Hospital for autopsy. SI Md. Ruhul Amin informed that Bithi Rani Saha was married for 6 months and was 3 months pregnant.

She was quoted as saying by her husband Lok Nath that her husband had gone to work without breakfast in the morning. A case of unnatural death has been filed at Burichang police station in the incident. The actual cause will be known subject to receipt of autopsy report.
