The first year students of Dhaka University's undergraduate program for the academic year 2023-2024 are going to start classes on September 30. On the eve of the start of classes, the Vice-Chancellor of the University Niaz Ahmed Khan congratulated the new students.

I welcome all new students from the University.

The Vice-Chancellor said that Dhaka University has been progressing through various ups and downs for more than a century. This university has a close relationship with the changes and progress of political-social-cultural history of the country. The recent July Revolution has brought us to a new juncture in history. You are the vanguard of this new journey.

Wishing good luck to the freshmen, the vice chancellor said, now is the turning point of your life. I hope you take every opportunity to develop yourself along with your studies. Dhaka University's generous, open wilderness fills the sense and appreciation of life. Here multidimensional opportunities for development and expression of talents of the individual occur. I wish you all the best on your journey ahead.
