Allegation of sexual abuse of class one primary school student in Kalapara

A man named Monir Sharif (50) has been accused of sexually abusing a child student (7), studying class one in the Safakhali govt. primary school in Patuakhali's Kalapara. Currently, the child is under treatment at Kalapara Hospital.
The mother of the child victim said, quoting the victim child, that child went to the shop to buy biscuits from his home in Safakhali village of Mithaganj Union on August 6.
At that time, the neighbor found Monir's child alone on the street and took the child to his house by squeezing his face from behind. He then tied the child's face with a towel and forcibly raped her and threatened to kill her and throw him in the canal if she told anyone about the matter. No one was in Monir's room at the time of the incident.
When the child started bleeding at home, first aid was given to the village doctor. As she did not recover from it, after being treated twice at Kalapara Hospital, the doctor suspected that the bleeding did not stop there either. When the child's mother interrogated the child last night, she opened up about the rape. The child's father said that preparations are being made to file a case in this incident.
Ali Ahmed, OC of Kalapara Police Station, said that legal action will be taken if a written complaint is received in this incident.
