16th Scholarship and Waiver Committee meeting held at BAUET

The 16th Scholarship and Waiver Committee meeting of Bangladesh Army University of Engineering & Technology (BAUET) was held at Syndicate Room at 11am with Vice-Chancellor Brigadier General Md. Mijanuzzaman in the chair.
In the meeting was organized on last Tuesday (02 July ), students studying and admitted in Fall-2023 semester were awarded merit scholarships based on the results of the final exam in different categories and the waiver in the semester. Merit Scholarship, Poor but Talented Quota, Sibling Quota, Freedom Fighter Quota, GPA 10 in SSC and HSC Examinations, Pet Quota for serving and retired Army, Air Force and Navy are awarded merit scholarships and waivers worth more than 23 lakh rupees in total six categories.
The meeting was attended by University Treasurer Col Md Shawkat Hossain, psc (Retd), Registrar Lt. Col. Sheikh Sunny Mohammad Talha (Retd.), Dean of the Faculty of Law and Head of the Department of Law and Justice Professor Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam, Dean, ECE Faculty and Department of CSE Professor Mohammad Golam Sarwar Bhuyan, Heads of Departments, Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Professor Dr. Mohammad Nurul Islam, Acting SSO of Qadirabad Cantonment Md. Sajib Hossain, ADC, concerned department heads, Proctor, Deputy Registrar (Academic), Student Welfare Adviser and Head Assistant Professor of Sociology Md. Al-Amin conducted the meeting as Member Secretary of the meeting.
