The concluding ceremony of the four-day teacher training workshop titled Method of Instructions for newly recruited teachers was organized at Syndicate Hall of Bangladesh Army University of Engineering and Technology (BAUET) campus.

Brigadier General Md. Mizanuzzaman, Vice-Chancellor of the University was present as the chief guest at the closing ceremony last Thursday (July 4, 2024).

The chief guest said, "Through this teachers training, the new teachers have had the opportunity to learn many things by hand, including lesson plans for conducting class activities. This learning should be made meaningful by applying it while imparting education to the students.' He thanked all concerned for organizing this workshop.

Professor Dr. Md. Sazzad Hossain, Dean of Science and Humanities Faculty and Head, Department of Physics, Professor Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam, Dean Faculty of Law and Head, Department of Law and Justice, Professor Mohammad Golam Sarwar Bhuyan, Dean, ECE Faculty and Head, Department of CSE, Professor Dr. Mohammad Nurul Islam, Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Deputy Registrar Admin Major Md. Manjinul Mubin (Retd.), concerned Heads of Departments, Student Welfare Adviser, Proctor and Deputy Registrar Academic were present.

The resource person of the teachers training workshop was Professor Dr. Md. Sazzad Hossain, Dean of Science and Humanities Faculty and Head, Department of Physics. Md. Masudar Rahman, Assistant Professor of Mathematics Department and ABM Kabir Hossain, Assistant Professor of ICE Department, assisted as facilitators.

Rafia Tamanna, Fresher Teacher Lecturer of ICE Department expressed her feelings about the things that the teachers got hands-on through this teachers training workshop. She said 'In this session we learned some very important things about teaching through lesson planning, demonstration classes, how to motivate students, and how to create the best environment for students in their classrooms.'

Brigadier General Md. Mizanuzzaman, Vice-Chancellor, BAUET inaugurated the teacher training workshop at the Syndicate Hall on 29 June 2024. There are 22 teachers from 5 faculties (CEE Faculty, ECE Faculty, ME Faculty, Science and Humanities Faculty and Law Faculty) participating in the training workshop. At the end of the session the Chief Guest handed over certificates to the participants
