Shop were gifted to families of martyrs in July Revolution in Nazirpur, Pirojpur and sewing machines were distributed to injured family members for self-employment
on Thursday.
Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Ashraful Alam Khan handed over the keys of two shops named 'Sanshptak' and 'Kingbadanti' to the two martyred families and gifted sewing machines to the members of three injured families.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Md. Alauddin Bhuiyan (Johnny), Nazirpur UNO Arup Ratan Singh along with local political leaders, public representatives, media workers and officials of various departments were also present at the time.
Deputy Commissioner Ashraful Alam Khan said that the government is always by the side of the families killed and injured in the July Revolution. Everything will be done on behalf of the government to improve their living standards.
Family members of those killed and injured in the July Revolution have welcomed this initiative by the district administration.
