RCR declares year's best reporters

Reporters' Club Rangpur (RCR) has declared its ‘Year Best Reporter of the Year 2024’ and the awards have been given to five journalists working in Rangpur. The awards were given after the jury board’s scrutiny based on various categories.
In the electronic media (television) category, NTV Senior Staff reporter AKM Moinul Haque, in the print media (Newspaper) category, The Manab Zamin Staff Reporter Javed Iqbal, Dhaka Post’s own Rangpur Correspondent Farhaduzzaman Faruk, in the Online Media (News Portal) still cameraman category Kaler Kantho’s Rangpur office staff photojournalist Adar Rahman and in the visual cameraman (Television) category Ashikur Rahman Ashiq staff photojournalist of Ekhon TV’s Rangpur bureau office have been awarded.
The awards were handed over to the winners at a function at ‘Vinna Jagat’, an entertainment and picnic spot in Rangpur on Saturday afternoon. Earlier, a meeting titled 'Journalism and Use of Information Technology in New Horizons in New Bangladesh' was held there organized by Reporters Club Rangpur(RCR) Journalists working in various print, electronic and online media of the district participated in it. Participants submitted 85 reports in five categories for the election of the best reporter of the year. The best five of them were selected in five categorie.
