The introduction meeting of newly formed committee of Matiranga Upazila Zia Parishad of Khagrachari was held at Chowdhury Community Center on Saturday afternoon at the initiative of Matiranga Upazila Zia Parishad.

The meeting was moderated by Upazila Zia Parishad Vice President Rabiul Alam and chaired by Upazila Zia Parishad President Harunur Rashid. Khagrachhari District Zia Parishad President Mozammel Haque was present as the chief guest, Matiranga Upazila BNP General Secretary Badiul Alam Badi as special guest, and Matiranga Municipality BNP President Shah Jalal Kajal as special guest.

The speakers at the meeting said that the dictatorship fell through the public uprising of the students on August 5. I express my heartfelt gratitude to those whose sacrifice and acceptance of disability have opened this new horizon. We have gone through difficult times since 2006, due to the BNP, workers were not given work, drivers were not allowed to drive, and we had to endure a lot of torture and oppression. We want to give the next generation a beautiful and healthy style of politics.

The speakers also said that Zia Parishad is basically a professional organization. Those who are engaged in various professions will take the responsibility of this organization and work for the country and its people. They will try to convey this message to every household in order to implement the 31 points announced by the national hero Tarique Rahman. We have to overcome all obstacles and carry the party forward by fulfilling our respective responsibilities. We do not want to do politics of votes, but politics of gaining the love and trust of the people. BNP is committed to ensuring the voting rights of the people of the country.

Present at the event were District Zia Parishad Vice President Nasrin Akhter, Organizing Secretary Shiuli Biswas, Municipal BNP General Secretary Ibrahim Patwari, Upazila Zia Parishad General Secretary Belal Hossain and all the leaders of the organization.
