Netrokona district's proud son, former successful State Minister for Home Affairs, former Central BNP Publications Secretary Lutfuzzaman Babar, who was recently acquitted of all the cases in a false case and returned to his district after serving 17 years in prison, said in his speech as the chief guest, "I am standing before you today and am overwhelmed with emotion.

After spending 17 years in prison, I have returned to you again. Your love, prayers and support have given me the strength to walk this long path. I am eternally grateful to you. The cruel and murderous Hasina government filed a false case against me, sentenced me to death, and tried to suppress me by carrying out unspeakable torture and torture. But I did not compromise. I did not bow my head to the cruel government. I have always been on the path of truth, I am, and I will remain, God willing.

The murderous Hasina government has filed one false case after another against me and sent me to jail. BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman were wrongfully sentenced to death and life imprisonment for not testifying against me. With the prayers and support of the people of Netrokona and the infinite mercy of Allah, I have been acquitted of all the cases. I am willing to risk my life to protect the independence and sovereignty of the country.

I am ready to make any sacrifice. He said, the autocratic Hasina government has fallen due to the mass uprising of the student population. Democracy has not been established in the country yet. I strongly demand from the interim government to announce a roadmap for the elections soon.
