Anti-discrimination student movement organizer expelled in Rangpur

Rangpur district organizer of the Anti-discrimination student movement Tanjim Alam Tasin has been expelled on charges of being involved in a murder attempt plan.

This information was given in a notice signed by the main organizer of the Anti-discrimination student movement in Rangpur district, Rifat Hasan.

It said, 'In view of a call record regarding a plan to assassinate the Anti-discrimination student movement Rangpur district convener Imran Ahmed and member secretary Dr. Ashfaq Ahmed Jamil, district organizer Tanjim Alam Tasin has been expelled from the organization. After the expulsion, the organization will have no relationship with Tanjim Alam Tasin.'

In this regard, the convener of the Anti-discrimination student movement Rangpur district, Imran Ahmed, said, an outspoken enemy is better than a silent ally. There is nothing more to say for now.

It is mentioned a 155-member convening committee was formed in Rangpur district on November 24 last year with the aim of expanding the organizational structure across the country. The Rangpur district convening committee was approved for six months through a notification signed by Hasnat Abdullah, Convener of Anti-discrimination Student Novement and Arif Sohel, the member secretary. In this committee, Imran Ahmed, a student of Carmichael College, was made the convener and Dr. Asfaq Ahmed of Rangpur Medical College was made Member Secretary.

Tanjim Alam Tasin was not available for his comments in this regard.
