Eviction drive to free footpaths in Natore

The administration has conducted an operation to free footpaths in Natore city. The Roads and highway Department started the eviction drive at Chhayabani intersection in the city from 10 am on Wednesday.
The drive was conducted by Executive Magistrate and Assistant Commissioner (Land) Farhad Hossain.
Executive Engineer of the Roads and highway Department, Kamral Islam, said that people should be able to move safely on the footpaths. Despite repeated notices to free the footpaths, they did not leave the footpaths. The drive was conducted in the city from the morning to free the footpaths. Mics have been used in this regard.
It is mentionsble that on December 2, Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Rawshan Alam, Roads and Highways Department, Sadar Police Station, and the Roads and Highways Authority were ordered to free the footpaths and roads from encroachment.
