Two active members of JSS Sanskar arrested with weapons in Guimara

Members of the joint force arrested two active members of the hill armed terrorist organization JSS (Sanskar) while collecting extortion money in Guimara, Khagrachari.
They were arrested from the Daktartila area of the upazila at around 6:30 pm on Wednesday.
Arrestees are -Manjur Alam (21), son of Bachchu Mia of Kalabari area of the upazila. Jasim Tripura Prakash Rubel Tripura (20), son of Girdwijoy Tripura of Ferkuma Karbari Para area.
According to a police press release, based on secret information, the joint force, led by Sergeant Md. Qutub Uddin of Jaliapara Army Camp under Sindukchhari Zone, arrested two active members of JSS Sanskar with weapons while collecting extortion money in the Daktarpara area of the upazila.
During this time, one domestically made LG, 7 rounds of cartridges, 2 Android mobiles, 1 button mobile, 2 wristwatches and 1,868 taka cash were recovered from them.
Guimara OC Mohammad Enamul Haque Chowdhury said that the detainees are active members of the Parbatya Chittagong Jana Sanghati Samiti. They have been brought to the police station and are being interrogated. The next steps in this regard are under process.
