Paddy seedling planting with Transplanter Machine in Srinagar

The planting of rice seedlings using the Rice Transplanter machine has been inaugurated as part of the implementation of modern agricultural techniques in Srinagar.
The formal inauguration of this activity took place at around 11 AM on Tuesday at Satgaon Byloke in the Biratara Union of the upazila.
The Chief Guest, Mohammad Mohin Uddin, UNO of Srinagar, inaugurated the event.
The ceremony was conducted under the guidance of Upazila Agricultural Officer Mohsina Jahan Torun in presence of Upazila Agricultural Extension Officer Main Uddin Saad, PIO Officer Mohammad Tajul Islam, and Assistant Agricultural Officers.
According to relevant sources, in the 2024-2025 fiscal year, under the Agricultural Incentive Program for the Rabi/2024-25 season, the Rice Transplanter machine was introduced to facilitate the planting of Boro rice seedlings through the establishment of a demonstration block.
The Rice Transplanter machine assists in rapidly transplanting rice seedlings from trays into farmers' fields.
