Darasul Furqan Islamia Library distributes Iftar in Morelganj

At the initiative of Darasul Furqan Islamia Library and the Women and Child Development Project, iftar items were distributed among helpless, widowed, and impoverished women in Morelganj, Bagerhat on Sunday.
This programme was held in Ward No. 3 of Morelganj Municipality. The event was presided over by Md. Shamsul Haque Khan, the founder and director of Darasul Furqan Islamiya Library. The chief guest was Prof. Maulana Shahadat Hossain, the Ameer of Upazila Jamaat.
Special guests included Md. Rafiqul Islam, Ameer of Morelganj Municipality Jamaat-e-Islami; Prof. Sabir Ahmed, Acting Principal of Government Siraj Uddin Memorial College; Assistant Professor Nesar Uddin; Municipal Jamaat Secretary Master Al Amin; and Joint Secretary Md. Rezaul Karim. Additionally, Prof. Habibullah Talukdar, President of the Municipal Branch of the Workers' Welfare Federation, and other distinguished local personalities were present..
As part of the Iftar distribution program, 75 destitute and needy individuals received iftar packages. The event was conducted by Md. Tawhidul Islam.
This initiative has earned praise from the local community, and beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the organizers.
