Drug dealer held with marijuana in Srimangal

A drug dealer was arrested with about 2 kg of marijuana in a raid by the Srimangal Police Station in Mouravibazar.
On Sunday, a police team led by SI Tapan Chandra Das of Srimangal Police Station carried out a raid and arrested Ledan Mia alias Abdur Rahman (52), a drug dealer, from the house of Abdur Rahman in Pachaun village of Mirzapur union of Srimangal upazila. During this, the police members recovered 1 kg 800 grams of ganja from the custody of the detainee.
OC of Srimangal Police Station Md. Aminul Islam said, after filing a case against the arrested accused under the Narcotics Control Act, he was sent to jail through the Moulvibazar District Magistrate's Court.
