
Cancer patient Laila needs help for treatment

Laila Anjuman Banu (35), daughter of the deceased Abul Hossain of Patilakhali village, Ishurdi has been suffering from cancer. She needs proper treatment to survive.
Despite going door to door to survive, she did not get any help for cancer treatment and finally became the darling of journalists. She came to Ishurdi Upazila Press Club on Monday morning and requested the journalists in a tearful voice, saying, "I am a helpless orphan woman. I do not have a husband, children, father, mother, brother who can help me for treatment. I want to live among you." She said, "For the past six months, I have been fighting death due to cancer, a fatal disease in the food pipe.
Meanwhile, Mosha Laila Anjuman Banu has received treatment from doctors at PG Hospital in Dhaka, Dr. Touhidul Alam of Green Life and Ferdous Alam of Ibnesina. Stating that there is no result, she has sought help from wealthy people in the country and abroad, including Ishurdi for treatment.
