Acting President of Karnaphuli Upazila JL Nazim arrested

Acting president of Karnaphuli Upazila Jubo League Nazim Uddin Haider has been arrested by the Karnaphuli and Kotwali police in connection with the attack, vandalism and looting of the student movement.
A team of Karnaphuli police station arrested him from Dangarchar area of the upazila at around 8:30 pm on Friday.
Karnaphuli Police Station OC Muhammad Sharif confirmed the matter.
Arrested Nazim Uddin Haider Karnaphuli is acting president of Upazila Jubo League and joint secretary of Upazila Awami League. Nazim Uddin Haider was in hiding for a long time after the departure of Sheikh Hasina. He has been accused of sabotaging the movement of students in the New Market area on August4.
The OC said that there are cases against him in various police stations.
