Attack on JnU proctor’s car: Teachers’ Association condemns, demands justice

Teachers’ Association of Jagannath University (JnU) has strongly condemned and protested the attack on the university’s Proctor, Prof Dr. Muhammad Tazammol Hoque. They have demanded the immediate arrest and exemplary punishment of those involved in the incident.
On Monday , Prof Dr. Mosharraf Hossain, President of the Teachers’ Association, and Professor Dr. Md. Rais Uddin, General Secretary, issued a joint statement expressing their outrage over the attack.
In the statement, the leaders vehemently condemned the sudden assault on Professor Dr. Muhammad Tazammol Hoque and called for the immediate apprehension of the perpetrators.
They further warned that unless those responsible for such audacious behavior towards a professor are identified and subjected to exemplary punishment, the Teachers’ Association will be compelled to announce strict action programs. The association also urged the university and police administration to take effective steps to arrest all those involved by tonight.
