Kishoreganj Press Club forms human chain to protest journalist Tuhin's murder

A human chain protesting the killing of journalist Md. Asaduzzaman Tuhin in Gazipur was organized by Kishoreganj Press Club. The hour-long human chain was organized at Bijoy Chattar, Kalibari intersection, in the city at 12 noon on Saturday.
At that time, speakers said, the brutal way journalist Tuhin was hacked to death is unimaginable in a free country. The arrested persons involved in the murder must be given exemplary punishment as soon as possible. At the same time, the government must take effective steps to ensure the safety of journalists. Otherwise, the journalist community across the country will be forced to go on a more stringent movement.
The human chain was chaired by Acting President of Kishoreganj Press Club Adv Sheikh Masud Iqbal and moderated by General Secretary Saiful Malek Chowdhury. Senior journalist and writer Mu A Latif, Ameer of Kishoreganj District Jamaat Ramzan Ali, General Contact of Kishoreganj District BNP Mazharul Islam, President of Kishoreganj District Journalists Union Ahmad Farid, Joint General Secretary of Kishoreganj Press Club Moniruzzaman Khan Chowdhury Sohel, Treasurer Shafiqul Islam Fakir Moti, Executive Member Kawsar Ahmed Titu, and journalists from print and electronic media present spoke.
Also present at the human chain were about a hundred journalists from electronic and print media working in the district.
