Ziaur Rahman’s 44th martyrdom anniv observed in Betagi

On the occasion of the 44th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed President and BNP founder Ziaur Rahman, the BNP in Betagi, Barguna, organized a prayer session, discussion meeting, and food distribution for the underprivileged on Friday morning.
The day’s programme began formally at the party office with the hoisting of the national flag, party flag, and black flag. At 11 a.m., a prayer session and discussion meeting were held at the Betagi Government Pilot High School auditorium, presided over by Upazila BNP convener Md. Humayun Kabir Mallik.
Speakers at the event included Upazila BNP member secretary Golam Sarwar Riyad Khan, Municipal BNP member secretary Md. Mizanur Rahman Khan, Upazila BNP senior joint convener Principal Md. Shahin, joint conveners Abdus Salam Siddiqui and Monir Hossain Lavlu, among others.
Later, cooked meals were distributed among the underprivileged. Earlier, a mourning rally led by Upazila BNP Convener Md. Humayun Kabir Mallik paraded through the main roads of the municipal town.
