Youth Festival -2025 : Coast Guard launched cleaning campaign in Bhola

Bangladesh Coast Guard has launched cleanliness campaign and rally titled “Youth Festival–2025” in Bhola on Thursday.
Coast Guard media officer Lieutenant Commander Harun-ur-Rashid informed this in a press release.
The press release said, since its establishment, the Bangladesh Coast Guard has been tirelessly working to ensure overall security and law and order in coastal and riverine areas, as well as to control environmental pollution.
In continuation of this effort, on May 29, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, under the theme “Let’s Change the Country, Change the World,” a cleanliness campaign and rally were organized as part of the Youth Festival–2025. The event, held at the ferry terminal area under Bhola Sadar Upazila, was arranged by Coast Guard South Zone. It saw the active participation of Coast Guard personnel stationed at BCG Base Bhola, students from various schools and colleges in Bhola, and local residents.
The Bangladesh Coast Guard maintains round-the-clock patrols to ensure the stability of the country’s law and order. As a result, law enforcement in coastal and riverine areas under its jurisdiction has significantly improved. The Coast Guard will continue such initiatives in the future to protect the environment.
