World Environment Day celebrated in Munshiganj

An event was held in Munshiganj to mark World Environment Day. On Wednesday at 10:00 AM, a colorful rally was organized by the district administration in observance of the day, starting from in front of the District Collectorate field.
The rally paraded through the main streets of the town. Following the rally, a discussion meeting was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s seminar room, presided over by Deputy Commissioner Fatema Tuz Zohra Jannat. Also present were Additional Deputy Commissioner Md. Rezaul Karim and Additional Superintendent of Police Humayun Kabir.
Deputy Commissioner distributed prizes among winners of various competitions. After the discussion session, DC Fatema Tuz Zohra Jannat inaugurated a tree planting program in the DC Office premises.
