BFF rally, discussion meeting in Faridpur on World Environment Day

With the theme "Say No to Plastic Pollution," a public awareness rally was held on Thursday ,organized by Beneficiaries' Friendship Forum - BFF Faridpur and supported by ALRD on the occasion of World Environment Day. Later, a discussion meeting was held at the BFF conference room.
The chief guest at the event was Mohammad Said Anwar, Deputy Director of the Department of Environment in Faridpur. The meeting was presided over by BFF Executive Director A. N. M. Fazlul Hadi Sabbir and conducted by Administrative Officer Rummana Ferdousi.
Among others present were FDA Advisor Mohammad Azharul Islam, SDC Executive Director Kazi Ashraful Hasan, Pathkoli Organization Executive Director Belayet Hossain, RASIN Executive Director Asma Akhter Mukta, BLAST Coordinator Shipra Goswami, and PWO Executive Director Mohammad Hafizur Rahman, along with farmers and rural women.
Speakers at the discussion emphasized raising public awareness for environmental protection and urged tree plantation, increased awareness in lightning management, and abandoning the use of plastic for an eco-friendly lifestyle.
