Discussion, prize distribution on Int'l Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit trafficking in Barishal

A discussion meeting and prize distribution ceremony was held on Thursday in the conference room of the DC's office, organized by the District Administration and the Department of Narcotics Control, Barishal, on the occasion of the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on Thursday.

The chief guest of the event was Barishal DC Mohammad Delwar Hossain. The meeting was presided over by Additional District Magistrate of Barishal, Sufal Chandra Goldar.

Special guests included Barishal Superintendent of Police Md. Sharif Uddin, Additional Director of the Department of Narcotics Control, Divisional Office Barishal, Paritosh Kumar Kundu, along with officials from various government and non-government organizations.

At the beginning of the program, a colorful rally paraded through the important streets of the city and ended at the DC's office.

After a brief discussion, the guests handed over prizes to the winners of various competitions on the topic of prevention of drug abuse and illicit trafficking.
