Workshop on typhoid vaccination campaign held in Joypurhat

An orientation workshop on the typhoid vaccination campaign was held in Joypurhat.
The workshop was held at the auditorium of the Joypurhat Civil Surgeon's Office at 11 am on Monday.
The Joypurhat Civil Surgeon's Office, in collaboration with UNICEF, organized this orientation workshop for media workers in the district.
Various information related to vaccination was presented at the workshop by Joypurhat Civil Surgeon Dr. Md. Al Mamun, Deputy Director of Joypurhat Islamic Foundation Majedur Rahman, Assistant Director of the Department of Mass Communication (Ministry of Information and Broadcasting) Masriyat Jahan Barsha, District Acting Information Officer Ibrahim Molla Suman, President of Joypurhat Press Club Abu Bakar Siddique and General Secretary Masud Rana.
The workshop said that under the ongoing program
All children aged 9 months to 15 years, or all students from pre-primary to ninth grade (approximately 2.5 million), will be given one dose of the vaccine free of charge.
The speakers emphasized the role of the media in preventing rumors and creating public awareness about the benefits of vaccination to make it successful.
