VP Nur in Galachipa : We struggled to achieve rights of oppressed people of country

A view-sharing meeting was held at the Upazila Municipal Mancha on Wednesday (Oct 15) at 3 pm organized by Gano Adikar Parishad in Galachipa.
President of Gano Adikar Parishad and former DUCSU VP Nurul Haque Nur was present as the chief guest at the meeting.
The program was presided over by the convener of the Galachipa branch, Md. Hafizur Rahman.
Before the meeting began, leaders and activists of the People's Rights Council from the upazila and surrounding areas gathered at the municipal mancha from after 2 pm, chanting slogans.
In his speech as the chief guest, Nur said, "We have been repeatedly oppressed in our struggle to achieve the rights of the people of this country against the fascist government through the quota movement on July 24." Even though I got the opportunity to live a luxurious life, I rejected it with hatred thinking about the oppressed people of this country.
He further said, I did not struggle just for the sake of electoral politics. I fought with my life to restore people's rights with the participation of students and the public in the mass uprising on the 24th. Our goal is to restore discipline in educational institutions in the country, eradicate poverty and transform Galachipa-Dashmina Upazila into a modern Upazila. I want to gain the trust of the people with the truck symbol in the upcoming elections.

The speakers said that the great hero of the 24th mass uprising, the repeatedly persecuted, and the dying leader of the struggle, VP Nur, fought against the fascist Awami regime through the quota movement and established the rights of the oppressed students and people of the country. Under his leadership, the people of this country are seeing a new light of hope.
Later, around 6 pm, when VP Nur appeared on the municipal stage again, a crowd gathered. The exchange of views immediately turned into a public meeting. Thousands of people from different areas of the upazila stayed around the stage until evening to listen to his speech.
Meanwhile, the upazila administration and law enforcement officers created a security cordon around VP Nur's arrival and meeting to ensure a peaceful environment.
