
Tourist couple filming incident : Man gets one month jail in Kalapara

A mobile court in Kuakata has sentenced a man named Md. Halim (35) to one month in jail for forcibly entering hotel rooms and secretly recording videos of tourist couples.
The convict, Halim, is the son of the late Kamal Murdha of Fulbunia area in Barguna district. He had been running a small four-room tin-shed hotel named Hotel Care in Kuakata on a rental basis.
According to reports, in the early hours of Wednesday. Halim entered a residential hotel and deliberately targeted two rooms rented by tourist couples..
Hotel owner, Md. Shakil, said:
“I rented out two rooms at night and went to rest.
Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Administrator of Kuakata Municipality, Yaseen Sadeq, said:
“Upon receiving the complaint that a man entered a hotel room and took photos of tourists without consent, we immediate take action.
