To build a new Bangladesh, under the slogan "Come change the country, let's change the world", a volleyball competition for boys and a badminton competition for girls and a prize distribution ceremony were held under the management of the District Sports Office on the occasion of the Youth Festival 2025.

On Wednesday , the competition was held at the Wahid Siddique High School playground in Moulvibazar Sadar Upazila. Under-16 boys and girls from various educational institutions in Moulvibazar Sadar Upazila participated in the sports competition. In the boys' volleyball competition, the Wahid Siddique High School team defeated the Raipur Islamia Dakhil Madrasa team by a margin of 2-0 sets and became the champion. The girls' badminton singles champion was Baishakhi Das and the runner-up was Zarina Begum, and the badminton doubles champion was Baishakhi Das, Riya Akhter pair, and the runners-up were Nurjahan Akhter, Amina Akhter pair.

After the competition, the champion and runner-up teams were awarded the prizes for the volleyball and badminton competitions, organized by the District Sports Office under the chairmanship of Wahid Siddek High School Headmaster Md. Nurul Islam Chowdhury, with Sadar UNO Md. Taj Uddin as the chief guest.

The special guests were District Education Officer Md. Fazlur Rahman, Moulvibazar District Sports Association proposed ad hoc committee member and district correspondent of Dainik Ittefaq newspaper Nazrul Islam Muhib, District Sports Officer Md. Mazharul Majid, Khalilpur Union Chairman Abu Mia Chowdhury, and the school's education officer Amirul Islam Shahed. Teachers and guardians from various schools were also present at the award ceremony of the volleyball and badminton competitions.
