VGF rice distributed among fishermen at Ujanchar in Goalando

VGF rice has been distributed among the registered fishermen in Ujanchar Union of Goalando Upazila of Rajbari District under the Government Humanitarian Food Assistance Program for the period of Jatka extraction ban in the financial year 2023-2024.
This rice (80 kg per jail for 2 months) was distributed at Ujanchar Union Parishad on Wednesday noon.
Meanwhile, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Jyoti Bikas Chandra, Upazila Fisheries Officer Dr. Subarna Ferdous, Ujanchar UP Chairman Golzar Hossain Mridha, Panel Chairman Md. Abul Hossain, UP members and other concerned were present.
According to Upazila Fisheries Office sources, this rice has been distributed among 326 fishermen of Ujanchar Union under the government humanitarian food assistance programme for the period of Jatka harvesting ban.
