DU Persian language and Lierature Department held freshman admission ceremony

Dhaka University Persian Language and Literature Department's freshman admission ceremony was held at RC Majumder Arts Auditorium on Wednesday.
Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) engaged in the routine duties of the Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University Sitesh Chandra Bachar was present as the chief guest on the occasion.
Departmental Chairman Dr. Md. Mansoor Chavushi, Iran's ambassador to Bangladesh, spoke as the guest of honor at the event presided over by Mumit Al Rashid. In addition, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts Professor Dr. Abdul Bachir, prominent poet and fiction writer Anisul Haque and Director of Internet Service Association of Bangladesh. Nasir Uddin was present as a special guest on the occasion. Professor Dr. gave a welcome speech. KM Saiful Islam Khan.
Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) Sitesh Chandra Bachar highlighted the history and tradition of Persian language and literature and said that students should play a role in enriching the Bengali language by practicing the literary works of this language.
He urged the researchers to write the research papers of MPhil and PhD in this department in Persian language. He sought the cooperation of the Iranian ambassador to Bangladesh in making the ongoing joint education and research activities between Dhaka University and various Iranian universities more dynamic.
At the end of the discussion session, a wonderful cultural program was performed with the participation of departmental students.
