The upazila administration and UNO Chandan Kar are being praised at all levels for maintaining 100% transparency in the selection and publication of the final list of data collectors (enumerators) and supervisors for the purpose of creating a household database under the 'Family Card Census-2026' in Haripur Upazila of Thakurgaon.

A review of the recently published notifications and results shows that these results have been prepared strictly following only the merit, qualifications and government guidelines of the applicants, without any nepotism or undue influence.

The names of the selected enumerators, supervisors and those on the waiting list (reserve) were published in the final list signed by UNO Chandan Kar and Upazila Social Service Officer (OSO) Md. Abdur Rahim. Not only the results were published, but also 9 strict conditions and instructions have been issued by the administration to ensure complete transparency and accountability in the recruitment process.

This principled and merit-based process of the administration has been praised by local civil society, journalists, and political leaders.

In this regard, Haripur Press Club President Mamunur Rashid Chowdhury and General Secretary Abdur Rashid said, "It is very positive that the recruitment process is completed 100% on the basis of merit and competence without any irregularities or influence in an important government activity like the family card census.

On the same issue, Upazila BNP General Secretary Abu Taher said, "The responsibility of the administration is to be impartial and maintain transparency in every government activity. The honesty and professionalism shown by UNO Chandan Kar in appointing family card census workers in Haripur deserves praise."

Local freedom fighter Mujibur Rahman said, "As the recruitment process was conducted on the basis of merit, qualified candidates have been given the opportunity to work, which will contribute to making the entire census process accurate."
