Divisional Commissioner of Sylhet Abu Ahmad Siddiqi NDC inaugurated Universal Pension Scheme Support Center at Divisional Passport and Visa Office Sylhet on Tuesday (April 23) noon. on the occasion a colourful programme organized by Sylhet District Administration and Divisional Passport and Visa Office Sylhet.

Divisional Commissioner of Sylhet Abu Ahmad Siddiqi NDC said this Speech as chief guest, under the leadership of Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the government's money and income are increasing. The state is getting richer. Therefore, the honorable Prime Minister wants the citizens of this country to understand its part. And to get that part, everyone has to come under the universal pension scheme. This country became independent because of the courage that Bangabandhu showed to make this country independent. His privileged daughter has transformed this country known as a bottomless basket into a developing country due to the single leadership and infinite courage of the honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

He said the above words in his address as the chief guest at the. At this time, he also said to the present service beneficiaries, once again the Prime Minister has taken a bold step and launched the universal pension scheme. Which countries like India and Pakistan could not do. The real character of the government is to keep the country and nation good. The government always wants the welfare of the people. The government wants to keep the people of this country well. So take the opportunity given by the Prime Minister of universal pension scheme.

He said, the sooner you come under the pension scheme, the sooner your pension amount will increase. We believe that the people of this expatriate Sylhet region will soon come under this universal pension scheme.

Sylhet Divisional Passport and Visa Office Deputy Director Maher Uddin Sekh gave welcome speech in the programme. Deputy Commissioner of Sylhet Sheikh Russel Hasan said that Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working to give a beautiful and better life to the people of the country. In continuation of which the Prime Minister inaugurated the universal pension scheme last year. The Prime Minister is trying to give a better and better life to the people of this country.

The prime minister is working with the goal that the people of a certain age of the country can get allowance after the age of 60 years.

He also said that the government has taken this initiative for the social security of citizens in old age. A time when people should not have to touch anyone. Poverty should not appear in their lives. Therefore, the Prime Minister is making efforts to bring all the people of the country under the universal pension scheme.
