
Hanging body of journalist found in pine trees of Cox's Bazar beach

Police have recovered the hanging body of a journalist at the seaweed point of Cox's Bazar city beach on Thursday at around 9 am.
Locals spotted the body inside the pine garden adjacent to the beach golf course. Later, when the pictures of the body spread on social media, it was identified.
The deceased youth, Mohammad Nurul Amin (25), was the son of the late Junu Mia and a resident of Balukhali Ward No. 1 in Ukhiya's Palangkhali Union. He was working as a correspondent for a national newspaper called 'Daily Amar Praner Bangladesh' in Ukhiya Upazila.
OC of Cox's Bazar Sadar Model Police Station, Md. Elias Khan, confirmed the matter and said, police recovered the hanging body from the scene. After a preliminary examination, the body has been sent to the morgue of Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
