The Detectives rescued a 2 - months old baby within 15 hours of theft by cutting the wall of a house in Kishoreganj's Tarail on Sunday midnight.

Two men including a woman have been detained in this connection. The incident took place in Shahbagh village of Tarail upazila of Kishoreganj

The locals and police saids , 2 months old Junaid, son of Sajjad Hossain and Nazmin,, was stolen from the house on Sunday midnight. The police received the information Monday morning,, detectives started the rescue operation.

The Detectives including Tarail police rescued the child from Rubel Mia's house at Nilganj in Kishoreganj Sadar on Monday afternoon around 3.30 pm.. and detained b Rube (45) l and his mother-in-law in the incident.

The child's mother Nazmin said that the child was suffering from stomach ailment since evening. It was moving here and there for a while. Both of them fell asleep after feeding the baby on Sunday around half past one. Her husband Sajjad Hussain was staying at his sister's house in Comilla at the time of the incident. When mother Nazmin woke up at around 4 am, she started crying not seeing her child. At one point the house was broken into and the front door was found open. Neighbors also rushed to the sound of cries and screams. An announcement was made over the mosque's microphone to find the child.

(SP) in Kishoreganj, Mohammad Russell Sheikh PPM (Bar), BPM said in a press conference held at his office on Monday evening that the child was stolen between 2:15 am and 4:00 am on Sunday midnight. . We proceed by targeting three to four topics during the search. First is whether it's a murder, which is why the entire area is searched. But no such clue was found. Secondly, keep in mind the fact that someone who is transgender has taken the child. But nothing like that was found. Later I thought it was theft.

But we are going to target two categories of people in terms of who can do the theft. There are many who have a girl child, desperately hoping for only a boy. I started looking around. In the meantime, after getting a clue, the police started working accordingly. According to the clue, the police came to know that the Rubel-Khadija couple had three daughters, and they confirmed that the fourth child was also a girl..

To verify this matter, the police raided the hospital where Khadija's daughter gave birth on Sunday. It is known that the Rubel-Khadija couple had a daughter and a son after going there.

SP also said that the detained Rubel and his mother-in-law confessed to the police about stealing the child. The police believe that they did this because of the birth of four daughters in a row and the desire to have a son. They will be questioned further in this regard.
