Harun lost two adorable children to measles within a span of 15 days. Harun is devastated after losing his twin sons, who were just 13 months old.

Two 13-month-old children of Harun Ur Rashid, a resident of Takia Para village, East Khoyachhara, Ward No. 5, Khoyachhara Union No. 12, Mirsarai Upazila, died of measles within 15 days of each other.

Harun said that when the measles vaccination was being given in the area, when I went to get vaccinated, they said that the vaccine was over, and I could not vaccinate my children. A few days later, my son Fahim fell ill and was taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospital for treatment. After 8 days of treatment there,
Fahim died, after which the doctor said that Noman's condition was not good and took him to Dhaka, after which Noman was taken to Dhaka.

Visited various places including PG Hospital, Bangabandhu Hospital, Dhaka Neonatal Hospital
I was kept in the ICU, and even after eight days of treatment, I could not save my son Noman. I am destitute after losing two of my beloved children in a span of 15 days.

Kausar, a teacher in Takiapara, said that Harun has almost gone crazy after losing two children. We will appeal to the government to provide measles vaccination in every union so that no other parents will have to suffer from measles.
Nasir Uddin, Resident Medical Officer of Mirsarai Upazila Health Complex, said that we do not have any information about measles cases in Mirsarai.

We have information about patients admitted to our hospital. When asked about the lack of vaccination, he said that he only has information from inside the hospital. The TSO can also tell us about outside news.
