Monthly revenue meeting held in Sherpur

The monthly revenue meeting of Sherpur district was held on Sunday at conference room of the District Administration.
Organized by the Sherpur District Administration, the session was presided over by Sherpur Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Farida Yasmin.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Sheikh Jahid Hasan Prince and Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Saiful Islam Komol addressed the meeting as key speakers. The session was attended by the Upazila Nirbahi Officers (UNOs) of all five upazilas in the district, Assistant Commissioners (Land), and other officials and field-level employees of the district administration and various local land offices.
DC Farida Yasmin extensively reviewed the monthly progress of Land Development Tax collection, Khas land settlement, and land recovery operations. Detailed discussions were held on implementing strategic measures to ensure greater transparency, accountability, and dynamism in public land services.
The Deputy Commissioner directed all concerned officials to work cohesively to protect government-owned property, boost regional revenue collection, and transform the existing land management system into a more modern, citizen-friendly, and highly effective public service infrastructure.
