
Training program launched in Gaibandha to transform unskilled workforce into skilled professionals

Aiming to transform unskilled human resources into skilled professionals, the Proshika Institute of Skills for Employment (PRASHE) in Palashbari, Gaibandha, has launched the second batch of a three-month, fully free training program on Tailoring and Dress Making on Sunday. A total of 24 trainees are participating in this course.
The program is approved by the National Skill Development Authority (NSDA) and implemented under the Directorate of Technical Education as part of the MSSET-ISISC EBT Program (Phase-II).
The inaugural ceremony was attended by Palashbari Youth Development Officer Md. Abdul Wahab Sarkar as the chief guest. The event was presided over by Ananda Mohan, Head of STP at PRASHE, Palashbari.
Special guests included Md. Harun-Or-Rashid, Central Manager of Proshika Human Development Centre, among others. The event was conducted by Md. Siddikul Alam Mridha, Area Manager of Proshika Palashbari Development Area.
The chief guest highly praised Proshika’s initiative and discussed its importance in empowering rural communities through skill development.
It is mentioned that since 1976, Proshika Human Development Centre has been implementing various social protection and skill development programs across Bangladesh under the motto “Training, Education, and Work.”
This program is being implemented across different districts under the patronage of Proshika’s Chief Executive Sirajul Islam, with guidance from Deputy Chief Executives Md. Kamrul Hasan Kamal and Md. Abdul Hakim, and Director Rijuanus Shamim Rajib.
