Shofiul Alam Chowdhury Nadel, organizing secretary of Bangladesh Awami League, said this while distributing food items among the flood-hit families at Shahabuddin Community Center in Joychandi Union of Kulaura Upazila. He distributed food items among the flood-hit families of Joychandi and Kadipur Unions of Kulaura Upazila on Thursday afternoon.
Among the flood-affected families, Kulaura Municipality, Bhukshimil, Kadipur, Joychandi, Vatera and Baramchal Unions distributed food items on the ninth day. In nine days, 14 hundred packets of food items and 11 hundred prepared meals were distributed.
Kulaura Upazila Awami League President Rafiqul Islam Renu, Vice President Arvind Ghosh Bindu, Joychandi Union Parishad Chairman Mahbubur Rahman, Sylhet Metropolitan Awami League member Jumauddin Ahmat, Kulaura Journalists Association General Secretary Saidul Hasan Sipon, Sylhet Metropolitan Workers League leader Ali Hossain Mushahid were present.
