Sohana, Ifrit, Halima joint champions in DU Rokeya Hall annual sports competition

Sohana Akhter, a student of the English Department, Ifrit Faiza Imi, a student of the Institute of Disaster Management and Vulnerability Studies, and Halimatul Sadia, a student of the Mass Communication and Journalism Department, have become joint champions in the annual sports competition at Dhaka University Rokeya Hall.
In addition, Barsha Rani Mahanta, a student of the Management Department, has become the runner-up.
Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan inaugurated the competition as the chief guest on Sunday morning at the central playground. After the game, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Edn ) Prof Dr. Mamun Ahmed distributed prizes among the winners as the chief guest.
The event was presided over by Prof Dr. Hosne Ara Begum, the Provost of Rokeya Hall, and Prof Dr. SM Arif Mahmud, Acting Director of the Physical Education Center SM Zakaria, along with the principals of various halls, residential teachers and students were present.
