Shiv Chaturdashi Bratapuja, 7-day nila going on at Uttara Shivalay in Domar

One of the religious festivals of Hindus in Domar of Nilphamari, Shiv Chaturdashi Bratpuja and 7-day Nila is going on.
Nila will start on Friday March 8 and continue till March 16. Hansraj Uttara Shivalaya Mahashashman Committee of Harinchara Union organizes Nila at that place. Every year Shivratri Brata Puja is held on Shiv Chaturdashi Tithi of Falgun month.

Already devotees and visitors of Shiva have started coming from different places of the area. Devotees pour milk on Shiva's head and fulfill their wishes.

In this puja, the Hindu swastrian mythic khyata is displayed by making a large number of idols of 4 Yugas Neela, which gives an added pleasure to the visitors.
